Collection & delivery

We offer collection and delivery of your furniture throughout Denmark. You are also very welcome to drop off and collect from one of our workshops. We agree a time for delivery or collection that suits you.

Pelikanen FJ4000: construction and work required

The Pelican FJ4000 was designed by Finn Juhl. The Pelican is a low, enveloping armchair with wide upholstered sides, a rounded back, and short wooden legs. The model is available with various covers and detailing options.

The close transitions between seat, back and sides require fitting to the chair's curves. Sheepskin uses different material quantities and joins from upholstery fabric.

Choose a service for Pelikanen FJ4000

You can select Reupholstery as a starting point in the price selector. The quote concerns your own furniture. If several jobs are needed, they are described together in the quote; selections in the price selector are not automatically added together.

The starting price includes a new cover for the selected upholstered part in the chosen material category. It requires a usable underlying structure. New foam, replacement of other filling or webbing, or extensive rebuilding of the upholstery are priced after inspection. These jobs must not be confused with simply changing the cover.

Materials and the appearance you want to preserve

Choose upholstery fabric, leather, aniline leather, or sheepskin as the basis for the reupholstery. Sheepskin varies naturally in color, curl, and texture; a uniform result requires planned cutting and matching of the pelts. Quality and desired look are confirmed with material samples before work begins. Buttons and seams are agreed upon based on your chair.

Photos for assessing Pelikanen FJ4000

Show the entire chair, the opening between seat and back, armrests and underside. Specify whether you prefer fabric, leather or sheepskin, and whether buttons should be preserved.

A photo of the markings or model number helps identify the version. State the number of pieces of furniture, previous repairs, and the issues you experience during use. Take photos calmly and with enough light so that both edges and details can be seen.

Starting price and agreement before work

All prices are indicative starting prices per piece of furniture, including VAT. Material consumption, quality, and the actual condition of the furniture can change the final amount. Work is only initiated once materials, scope, and price have been agreed upon in a specific quote. The timing for drop-off and completion is clarified in the same process.
