Bring out the wood’s character again

Armrests, chair legs, and tabletops are used. We help assess whether the woodwork needs a gentle refresh, sanding, or a new surface treatment.

Chairs and armchairs

Visible woodwork can be renovated at the same time as new weaving or upholstery. Specify whether the entire frame or only individual parts should be treated, and whether the colour should match other furniture in the set. See the options for chair restoration.

Tables and tabletops

Watermarks, scratches, and wear are assessed based on the tabletop material. Solid wood and veneer require different treatments. See table sanding for the specific process.

Sanding, oil, soap or wax?

The choice depends on the wood species, current treatment and how the furniture is used. We clarify the desired look and maintenance with you. A sample may be necessary before the finish is agreed. Deep marks and patina do not necessarily disappear completely.

If joints are loose or the wood is broken, the repair must be assessed first. We can include repair and treatment in one quote.

Send images of the woodwork

Show the whole piece of furniture and the surface in daylight. Tell us if you know the wood species or the previous treatment, and what you would like to change. Quantity and condition determine the price; transport is agreed separately.
