Jonas Goldberg and Mikkel Tschentscher founded Møbelpartner to bring weaving, upholstery, joinery and restoration together under one roof. You get one point of contact, even when your furniture needs several specialisms.
Craftsmanship across generations
Kurvemagerne is part of Møbelpartner. The story dates back to 1946 in Kongens Lyngby, and the craftsmanship is carried on through several generations. We use this experience for both private furniture and larger projects for businesses, churches and institutions.
One place to find help for the furniture
Møbelpartner combines reupholstery, furniture repair, chair weaving and made-to-measure cushions under one brand. The idea is simple: You should be able to start from your furniture and find the relevant help, even when a task spans materials and techniques.
A dining chair can have both a need for a new seat and a repair. A sofa may need new cushions, even if the rest functions. Therefore, our content is organised according to what you need to resolve, with clear paths forward to a concrete assessment.

Our sub-brand specialises in weaving and restoration and operates under the same Danish company registration number (CVR). Existing agreements and correspondence continue through the channels where they began.

Your particular piece of furniture comes first
A model designation is a good start, but furniture of the same model may be in different condition. Therefore we ask for images and a description of your wishes. This makes it possible to distinguish between wear on the surface and problems with the construction.
You do not need to know the material or the name of a weaving type. A photo of the entire chair, the seat and the underside is often more useful than an uncertain guess. On the individual service pages you will find a short guide to the information that fits the task.
An agreement with clear scope
Before work begins, the material, scope and practical details must be agreed. This applies to a single seat as well as a larger set of cushions. Any wishes to preserve patina, colour or details should be included from the outset.
We do not display a general price as a binding price for all furniture. The price guide explains the most significant differences, and collection and delivery helps to clarify the practical part.
