Gryden 3318: construction and work required
The Pot 3318 was designed by Arne Jacobsen. The Pot 3318 features a low, enveloping upholstered shell, where the back and sides form a continuous curve over four slender metal legs.
The continuous edge and transition between the inside and outside must follow the shell's shape. Older and newer versions may have different construction underneath the upholstery.
Choose a service for Gryden 3318
You can select Reupholstery as a starting point in the price selector. The quote concerns your own furniture. If several jobs are needed, they are described together in the quote; selections in the price selector are not automatically added together.
The starting price includes a new cover for the selected upholstered part in the chosen material category. It requires a usable underlying structure. New foam, replacement of other filling or webbing, or extensive rebuilding of the upholstery are priced after inspection. These jobs must not be confused with simply changing the cover.
Materials and the appearance you want to preserve
You can choose furniture fabric, leather, or aniline leather as a starting point for the quote. The specific quality, color, and finish are agreed upon based on usage and preferences. A patterned textile may require more material than a solid-colored one, and the leather's natural variations must be taken into account during cutting. If multiple pieces of furniture are to have the same upholstery, they are assessed as a single project.
Photos for assessing Gryden 3318
Show the rounded top edge, the transition from seat to back, the underside and manufacturer’s marking. State whether the chair has previously been reupholstered.
A photo of the markings or model number helps identify the version. State the number of pieces of furniture, previous repairs, and the issues you experience during use. Take photos calmly and with enough light so that both edges and details can be seen.
Starting price and agreement before work
All prices are indicative starting prices per piece of furniture, including VAT. Material consumption, quality, and the actual condition of the furniture can change the final amount. Work is only initiated once materials, scope, and price have been agreed upon in a specific quote. The timing for drop-off and completion is clarified in the same process.
Collection and delivery are agreed separately. See also prices for furniture service, or send images and describe your job.
