We start with the furniture’s condition, construction and your wishes. For Ingeborg armchair you can choose:

Collection & delivery

We offer collection and delivery of your furniture throughout Denmark. You are also very welcome to drop off and collect from one of our workshops. We agree a time for delivery or collection that suits you.

Ingeborg armchair: construction and work required

The Ingeborg armchair was designed by Flemming Lassen. Ingeborg is a compact armchair with a rounded back that extends into curved upholstered armrests. The voluminous seat is supported by four visible, tapered wooden legs.

The continuous curve from backrest to armrests requires precisely cut cover sections. Sheepskin and woven upholstery fabric produce different finishes and are priced as separate material choices.

Choose a service for Ingeborg armchair

You can select Reupholstery and Restoration of wooden frame as a starting point in the price selector. The quote concerns your own furniture. If several jobs are needed, they are described together in the quote; selections in the price selector are not automatically added together.

The starting price includes a new cover for the selected upholstered part in the chosen material category. It requires a usable underlying structure. New foam, replacement of other filling or webbing, or extensive rebuilding of the upholstery are priced after inspection. These jobs must not be confused with simply changing the cover.

Materials and the appearance you want to preserve

Furniture fabric and sheepskin are different material choices. For sheepskin, the fur type, hair length, color, and direction are agreed upon so that seams and transitions fit the furniture's curves. Woven fabric is chosen based on texture and use. The need for new filling or major reconstruction is assessed separately.

The wooden frame can be assessed for restoration at the same time as the seat or cushions. Specify if you wish to preserve the current tone and visible signs of wear. The shown price for the wooden frame is an independent starting point; major damage or replacement of parts requires a specific quote.

Photos for assessing Ingeborg armchair

Show the chair from the front and back, the transition between back and arms and the underside. Describe wear in the seat, and include close-up images of the wooden legs.

A photo of the markings or model number helps identify the version. State the number of pieces of furniture, previous repairs, and the issues you experience during use. Take photos calmly and with enough light so that both edges and details can be seen.

Starting price and agreement before work

All prices are indicative starting prices per piece of furniture, including VAT. Material consumption, quality, and the actual condition of the furniture can change the final amount. Work is only initiated once materials, scope, and price have been agreed upon in a specific quote. The timing for drop-off and completion is clarified in the same process.
