FK6720 armchair: construction and work required

The FK6720 lounge chair was designed by Preben Fabricius and Jørgen Kastholm. The FK6720 lounge chair has an angular steel frame with slender armrests and separate upholstered surfaces on the seat and back. The loose cushions emphasize the open frame.

The starting price applies to the single-seat lounge chair. The upholstery of the cushions and any other covered surfaces are reviewed together, while the armrest wrapping and the metal frame are assessed separately.

Choose a service for FK6720 armchair

You can select Reupholstery of seat and backrest as a starting point in the price selector. The quote concerns your own furniture. If several jobs are needed, they are described together in the quote; selections in the price selector are not automatically added together.

The starting price includes a new cover for the selected upholstered part in the chosen material category. It requires a usable underlying structure. New foam, replacement of other filling or webbing, or extensive rebuilding of the upholstery are priced after inspection. These jobs must not be confused with simply changing the cover.

Materials and the appearance you want to preserve

The leather’s thickness, stretch and surface must suit the existing construction. Aniline leather has a more open appearance, while other suitable leathers may have a protective finish. Colour, edges and any reinforcements are confirmed before cutting. Load-bearing support and new filling are assessed separately.

Show the seat and back cushions on both sides, the chair without the loose cushions, and the armrest wrapping. Send measurements and markings so the model can be distinguished from the sofa versions.

A photo of the markings or model number helps identify the version. State the number of pieces of furniture, previous repairs, and the issues you experience during use. Take photos calmly and with enough light so that both edges and details can be seen.

Starting price and agreement before work

All prices are indicative starting prices per piece of furniture, including VAT. Material consumption, quality, and the actual condition of the furniture can change the final amount. Work is only initiated once materials, scope, and price have been agreed upon in a specific quote. The timing for drop-off and completion is clarified in the same process.
