We start with the furniture’s condition, construction and your wishes. For FK10 Plico high back you can choose:

FK10 Plico high back: construction and work required

FK10 Plico high back was designed by Preben Fabricius and Jørgen Kastholm. FK10 Plico has a high back, a separate headrest cushion, and a seat and backrest in quilted linen canvas. The folding oak frame has exposed brass fittings, curved rear legs and saddle-leather arm straps.

The high back and neck cushion involve a different scope of work from FK11. The cover's stitching must follow the existing cushions, and the folding mechanism must retain its movement.

Choose a service for FK10 Plico high back

You can select New covers for seat, backrest and headrest cushion and Restoration of wooden frame and New arm straps, pair as a starting point in the price selector. The quote concerns your own furniture. If several jobs are needed, they are described together in the quote; selections in the price selector are not automatically added together.

The starting price for the cover includes the seat, high back, and existing neck cushion. It assumes usable cushions. New filling, replacement of supporting substrates, and work on fittings are assessed separately. Arm straps and wood restoration are separate choices.

Materials and the appearance you want to preserve

Linen canvas is chosen to match the existing weave and quilting. The thickness and stitching of the cushions must suit the chair's movement. Arm straps require suitable saddle leather and agreed-upon dimensions. The color and finish of the wood are coordinated separately; brass fittings and the folding mechanism are included based on a specific assessment.

The wooden frame can be assessed for restoration at the same time as the seat or cushions. Specify if you wish to preserve the current tone and visible signs of wear. The shown price for the wooden frame is an independent starting point; major damage or replacement of parts requires a specific quote.

Show both sides of the seat, high back and neck cushion, plus arm straps and folding-frame fittings. State whether back adjustment and folding still work as before.

A photo of the markings or model number helps identify the version. State the number of pieces of furniture, previous repairs, and the issues you experience during use. Take photos calmly and with enough light so that both edges and details can be seen.

Starting price and agreement before work

All prices are indicative starting prices per piece of furniture, including VAT. Material consumption, quality, and the actual condition of the furniture can change the final amount. Work is only initiated once materials, scope, and price have been agreed upon in a specific quote. The timing for drop-off and completion is clarified in the same process.
