FK11 Plico low back: construction and work required

The FK11 Plico low back was designed by Preben Fabricius and Jørgen Kastholm. The FK11 Plico is the low version with quilted linen canvas on the seat and back, saddle leather arm straps, and a foldable oak frame. The curved rear legs and visible brass fittings are part of the construction.

The starting price applies to the low back without a head cushion. Upholstery and cushions are adapted to the folding frame, so thickness and edges do not obstruct movement.

Choose a service for FK11 Plico low back

You can select New covers for seat and backrest and Restoration of wooden frame and New arm straps, pair as a starting point in the price selector. The quote concerns your own furniture. If several jobs are needed, they are described together in the quote; selections in the price selector are not automatically added together.

The starting price for the cover includes the seat and low back without a neck cushion. It assumes usable cushions. New filling, replacement of load-bearing supports, and work on fittings are assessed separately. Arm straps and wood restoration are separate options.

Materials and the appearance you want to preserve

Linen canvas is chosen to match the existing weave and quilting. The thickness and stitching of the cushions must suit the chair's movement. Arm straps require suitable saddle leather and agreed-upon dimensions. The color and finish of the wood are coordinated separately; brass fittings and the folding mechanism are included based on a specific assessment.

The wooden frame can be assessed for restoration at the same time as the seat or cushions. Specify if you wish to preserve the current tone and visible signs of wear. The shown price for the wooden frame is an independent starting point; major damage or replacement of parts requires a specific quote.

Show the seat and back on both sides, the straps' attachments and the brass fittings. Take a side view so the low version and the frame's condition can be assessed.

A photo of the markings or model number helps identify the version. State the number of pieces of furniture, previous repairs, and the issues you experience during use. Take photos calmly and with enough light so that both edges and details can be seen.

Starting price and agreement before work

All prices are indicative starting prices per piece of furniture, including VAT. Material consumption, quality, and the actual condition of the furniture can change the final amount. Work is only initiated once materials, scope, and price have been agreed upon in a specific quote. The timing for drop-off and completion is clarified in the same process.
