The material must match the construction

Rattan is used for several types of furniture weaving. Rattan cane is used, for example, in woven versions of PK22, PK20 and PK24. It should not automatically be confused with a pre-woven open sheet of French caning.

Some models are available in different versions. PK1 is seen, for example, with different weaving materials. A model name alone is therefore not enough to select material and method.

Local repair or new weaving

A local repair and complete reweaving are different jobs. We assess whether the material around the damage can still bear weight or whether a larger area needs replacing. A starting price for a weaving repair is not a price for complete reweaving.

Seat, back and frame

Send images of the whole chair, both sides of the weaving and the transition to the frame. Specify whether the seat, back or both are affected, and whether there are old repairs. We will clarify the scope and material choice before work begins.

    We weave using the agreed material and pattern. Any work on the frame is carried out as part of the agreed task.

  4. Woven chairs at the workshop

    4. Your furniture is ready again

    We will let you know when the work is finished. We arrange collection or delivery so you can start using the result.

What determines the price?

Model, weaving type, material and quantity have an impact on the price. Work on the frame and transport are clarified separately in the quote.
