The cords are part of the furniture’s construction

On furniture with flag halyard and cord weaving, the path and tension of the material are visible. The cords can form both the seat and backrest, as on several Wegner models, while Panton One has its own cord and fastening method.

The materials cannot be replaced for one another without reservation. Line, cord, colour and execution must be clarified based on the specific model and the version you have.

Inspection of the entire surface

One broken cord may indicate more widespread wear. We therefore inspect the damaged area, the rest of the cordwork and where the cords meet the frame. Cushions, woodwork and the metal frame are separate elements of any combined job.

How to get an assessment

Send images of the entire piece, seat and back from both sides, as well as details of breaks and fastenings. Specify if you wish to retain the current colour and finish. Select your model below to view services and starting price, or contact us with photos.

    We weave using the agreed material and pattern. Any work on the frame is carried out as part of the agreed task.

  4. Woven chairs at the workshop

    4. Your furniture is ready again

    We will let you know when the work is finished. We arrange collection or delivery so you can start using the result.

Model, weaving type, material and quantity have an impact on the price. Work on the frame and transport are clarified separately in the quote.
