We offer collection and delivery of your furniture throughout Denmark. You are also very welcome to drop off and collect from one of our workshops. We agree a time for delivery or collection that suits you.

KEVI 2070: construction and work required

KEVI 2070 was designed by Jørgen Rasmussen. KEVI 2070 is the wooden version with four curved wooden legs, a molded seat, and a separate backrest. The wide wooden backrest support connects the back to the seat and allows for movement of the back.

The flexible back connection must be functional after restoration. Veneer, curved legs, and joints are assessed as separate parts, and the surface treatment is agreed upon without altering the chair's construction.

Choose a service for KEVI 2070

You can select Restoration of wood frames and surface as a starting point in the price selector. The quote concerns your own furniture. If several jobs are needed, they are described together in the quote; selections in the price selector are not automatically added together.

The starting price includes the restoration of existing wooden surfaces on the seat, back, and legs. It assumes a functional construction. Breakages, new parts, loose veneer layers, or work on the back's load-bearing connection require a separate quote.

Materials and the appearance you want to preserve

The molded shell consists of thin veneer layers and must not be treated as solid wood. Existing lacquer, glaze, or visible oak determine the method. Edges and areas around the screws are examined before a limited test. Worn-through veneer, loose layers, or missing wood require a separate assessment; a color change is also not automatically included. The finish of the wooden legs is matched to the shells. Movement in a joint must be distinguished from the back's intended flexibility.

Show the whole chair from the side, the backrest support, curved legs and seat underside. Include close-ups of scratches, edges and loose joints, plus the model marking.

A photo of the markings or model number helps identify the version. State the number of pieces of furniture, previous repairs, and the issues you experience during use. Take photos calmly and with enough light so that both edges and details can be seen.

Starting price and agreement before work

All prices are indicative starting prices per piece of furniture, including VAT. Material consumption, quality, and the actual condition of the furniture can change the final amount. Work is only initiated once materials, scope, and price have been agreed upon in a specific quote. The timing for drop-off and completion is clarified in the same process.
