We offer collection and delivery of your furniture throughout Denmark. You are also very welcome to drop off and collect from one of our workshops. We agree a time for delivery or collection that suits you.

KEVI 2052: construction and work required

KEVI 2052 is designed by Jørgen Rasmussen. KEVI 2052 is a backless stool with a round, slightly contoured veneer seat on four tubular legs. The seat height is approximately 76 cm. A round foot ring connects the high legs.

The seat's thin edge and visible fasteners are crucial during restoration. 2052 is the tall bar version; the lower counter model is called 2053. The work is agreed upon based on the specific surface and the condition of the seat.

Choose a service for KEVI 2052

You can select Restoration of a veneered seat as a starting point in the price selector. The quote concerns your own furniture. If several jobs are needed, they are described together in the quote; selections in the price selector are not automatically added together.

The starting price includes restoration of the seat's existing surface on a stable, usable shell. New veneer layers, major damage, and new seat parts require a separate offer. Polishing, re-lacquering, or repair of the metal frame and footring are not included in the seat price.

Materials and the appearance you want to preserve

The molded shell consists of thin veneer layers and must not be treated as solid wood. Existing lacquer, stain, or visible oak determine the method. Edges and areas around the screws are examined before a limited test. Worn-through veneer, loose layers, or missing wood require a separate assessment; a color change is also not automatically covered.

Show the entire stool, the seat from above and below as well as the edge and the four fastenings. State the seat height and show markings, scratches and any loose veneer layers.

A photo of the markings or model number helps identify the version. State the number of pieces of furniture, previous repairs, and the issues you experience during use. Take photos calmly and with enough light so that both edges and details can be seen.

Starting price and agreement before work

All prices are indicative starting prices per piece of furniture, including VAT. Material consumption, quality, and the actual condition of the furniture can change the final amount. Work is only initiated once materials, scope, and price have been agreed upon in a specific quote. The timing for drop-off and completion is clarified in the same process.
