The Grand Prix 3138 low bar stool was designed by Arne Jacobsen. The Grand Prix 3138 is the low bar stool with a molded veneer shell, four extended steel legs, and a footrest around the legs.

This service focuses on the restoration of the visible shell surface. The thin top veneer requires careful assessment, especially when there is wear on the edges and waist.

The starting price applies to the assessment and restoration of the existing veneer shell surface. The method depends on the lacquer, color, and the condition of the face veneer. Cracks, loose veneer layers, shell replacement, and repair of the metal frame or moving parts are separate tasks. The original profile and edge must be preserved; deep damage cannot always be removed.

Materials and the appearance you want to preserve

The wood type, previous treatment, and desired result must be clarified before the surface is processed. An oil-treated surface requires a different approach than lacquer, and existing patina may be part of the furniture's value to you. Therefore, specify both what needs to be improved and what needs to be preserved.
