Grand Prix 3139 high barstool: construction and work required

The Grand Prix 3139 high bar stool was designed by Arne Jacobsen. The Grand Prix 3139 has a tall leg construction with a footrest and the angular Grand Prix shell. It is the taller model compared to the 3138.

The surface work applies to the veneer shell. Damage that goes through the top veneer or affects the shell's strength requires a separate assessment before treatment.

Choose a service for Grand Prix 3139 high barstool

You can select Restoration of a veneered shell as a starting point in the price selector. The quote concerns your own furniture. If several jobs are needed, they are described together in the quote; selections in the price selector are not automatically added together.

The starting price applies to the assessment and restoration of the existing veneer shell surface. The method depends on the lacquer, color, and the condition of the face veneer. Cracks, loose veneer layers, shell replacement, and repair of the metal frame or moving parts are separate tasks. The original profile and edge must be preserved; deep damage cannot always be removed.

Materials and the appearance you want to preserve

The wood type, previous treatment, and desired result must be clarified before the surface is processed. An oil-treated surface requires a different approach than lacquer, and existing patina may be part of the furniture's value to you. Therefore, specify both what needs to be improved and what needs to be preserved.
