Give Corona Chair new life

We start with the furniture’s condition, construction and your wishes. For Corona Chair you can choose:

  • Reupholstering of all four cushioned panels

Send images of the entire piece of furniture and close-ups of wear or damage. We assess the task and clarify materials, price and expected time with you before work begins.

Is it worth restoring?

If our restoration price exceeds what a new item would cost, we will always inform you and provide an honest assessment before we begin. In this way, you can safely choose what makes the most sense – both for you and for the planet.

Collection & delivery

We offer collection and delivery of your furniture throughout Denmark. You are also very welcome to drop off and collect from one of our workshops. We agree a time for delivery or collection that suits you.

Corona Chair: construction and work required

The Corona Chair is designed by Poul M. Volther. The Corona consists of four separate, elliptical upholstered parts: a seat and three sections for the back and headrest. The parts are supported by a visible spring steel frame with a swivel base.

The edge contours and the spacing between the four sections must be preserved. The starting price applies to all upholstered parts of the chair; the footstool and repair of the swivel base are separate tasks.

Choose a service for Corona Chair

You can select Reupholstering of all four cushioned panels as a starting point in the price selector. The quote concerns your own furniture. If several jobs are needed, they are described together in the quote; selections in the price selector are not automatically added together.

The starting price includes new covers for the seat and the three separate backrest and headrest sections. Moulded foam, extensive rebuilding, fittings and the swivel mechanism are assessed separately. The footstool is not included in the chair’s price.

Materials and the appearance you want to preserve

You can choose furniture fabric, leather, or aniline leather as a starting point for the quote. The specific quality, color, and finish are agreed upon based on usage and preferences. A patterned textile may require more material than a solid-colored one, and the leather's natural variations must be taken into account during cutting. If multiple pieces of furniture are to have the same upholstery, they are assessed as a single project.

Photos for assessing Corona Chair

Show all four upholstered sections from the front and back, the connections to the frame, and the swivel base. Specify which sections are worn out or have lost their shape.

A photo of the markings or model number helps identify the version. State the number of pieces of furniture, previous repairs, and the issues you experience during use. Take photos calmly and with enough light so that both edges and details can be seen.

Starting price and agreement before work

All prices are indicative starting prices per piece of furniture, including VAT. Material consumption, quality, and the actual condition of the furniture can change the final amount. Work is only initiated once materials, scope, and price have been agreed upon in a specific quote. The timing for drop-off and completion is clarified in the same process.
