Utzon Stool JU01: construction and work required

The Utzon Stool JU01 was designed by Jørn Utzon. The Utzon Stool JU01 features a seat made of seven round wooden elements assembled in a flower-like shape. Curved laminated wooden legs and visible metal connections support the open construction.

The seven seat sections must retain their rounded edges and positions relative to each other. The quote covers the existing wood and finish; loose connections and damage to the curved legs are assessed separately.

Choose a service for Utzon Stool JU01

You can select Restoration of wood frames and surface as a starting point in the price selector. The quote concerns your own furniture. If several jobs are needed, they are described together in the quote; selections in the price selector are not automatically added together.

The starting price is based on the restoration of the existing wooden surface. Breakages, missing wood, major structural repairs, and repair of moving parts are assessed separately. The scope of work and desired finish must be specified in the offer.

Materials and the appearance you want to preserve

The individual wooden discs and laminated legs are assessed for their surfaces, edges and joints. The final quote specifies which parts will be treated and which finish must be preserved. Metal connections and loose fittings are checked separately to respect the furniture’s construction.

All prices are indicative starting prices per piece of furniture, including VAT. Material consumption, quality, and the actual condition of the furniture can change the final amount.
