Give KEVI Air new life

We start with the furniture’s condition, construction and your wishes. For KEVI Air you can choose:

  • Thorough cleaning of seat and back
  • Replacement of wheel sets
  • Replacement of gas spring

Send images of the entire piece of furniture and close-ups of wear or damage. We assess the task and clarify materials, price and expected time with you before work begins.

Is it worth restoring?

If our restoration price exceeds what a new item would cost, we will always inform you and provide an honest assessment before we begin. In this way, you can safely choose what makes the most sense – both for you and for the planet.

Collection & delivery

We offer collection and delivery of your furniture throughout Denmark. You are also very welcome to drop off and collect from one of our workshops. We agree a time for delivery or collection that suits you.

KEVI Air: construction and work required

KEVI Air was designed by Jørgen Rasmussen. KEVI Air features a perforated seat and a separate perforated backrest in plastic. The slender backrest support stands above an adjustable column and a five-star aluminium base with castors or glides, depending on the version.

The many small holes require thorough, gentle cleaning. The plastic shells must be examined for cracks around holes and attachments before any other service for the chair is agreed upon.

Choose a service for KEVI Air

You can select Thorough cleaning of seat and back and Replacement of wheel sets and Replacement of gas spring as a starting point in the price selector. The quote concerns your own furniture. If several jobs are needed, they are described together in the quote; selections in the price selector are not automatically added together.

The cleaning price applies to a seat and backrest with usable, intact shells. The starting price for the castor set includes a compatible set and installation, provided the attachment can be reused. The starting price for the gas lift applies to a compatible part and replacement in a usable column. Cracked shells, damage to the base, and major mechanical faults are assessed separately. Upholstery is not part of the standard service for this plastic model.

Materials and the appearance you want to preserve

The surface of the plastic shells is examined with a test spot. Cleaning can remove dirt, but deep marks and fading may be permanent. Castors and gas lifts are selected based on model, height variant, attachment, and floor type. The dimensions of the part and availability of a compatible spare part are confirmed before work is agreed upon. Replacement is performed as a separate service; selections in the price selector are not automatically added together.

Photos for assessing KEVI Air

Show the entire chair, the seat and backrest from both sides, the model label, and the attachment of the castors. State the height interval, floor type, and whether the height adjustment or castors function as before.

A photo of the markings or model number helps identify the version. State the number of pieces of furniture, previous repairs, and the issues you experience during use. Take photos calmly and with enough light so that both edges and details can be seen.

Starting price and agreement before work

All prices are indicative starting prices per piece of furniture, including VAT. Material consumption, quality, and the actual condition of the furniture can change the final amount. Work is only initiated once materials, scope, and price have been agreed upon in a specific quote. The timing for drop-off and completion is clarified in the same process.

The extent of the damage, the construction and the desired surface determine the work. Hidden damage may require a physical inspection before the price can be set.
