Queen Chair: construction and work required
The Queen Chair was designed by Hans J. Wegner. Queen Chair has a high, continuous back with a narrow upper section and rounded upholstered armrests. Its soft body rests on a slender steel frame, sharing its design language with Ox Chair.
The long back surface and the curved arm ends require even tension and precise piping. There is no horn-shaped headrest as on the Ox Chair; the ottoman is a separate service.
Choose a service for Queen Chair
You can select Reupholstery as a starting point in the price selector. The quote concerns your own furniture. If several jobs are needed, they are described together in the quote; selections in the price selector are not automatically added together.
The starting price includes a new cover for the selected upholstered part in the chosen material category. It requires a usable underlying structure. New foam, replacement of other filling or webbing, or extensive rebuilding of the upholstery are priced after inspection. These jobs must not be confused with simply changing the cover.
Materials and the appearance you want to preserve
You can choose furniture fabric, leather, or aniline leather as a starting point for the quote. The specific quality, color, and finish are agreed upon based on usage and preferences. A patterned textile may require more material than a solid-colored one, and the leather's natural variations must be taken into account during cutting. If multiple pieces of furniture are to have the same upholstery, they are assessed as a single project.
Photos for assessing Queen Chair
Show the entire backrest front and back, the arm ends, the front and underside of the seat. Specify the desired fabric or leather and areas with uneven support.
A photo of the markings or model number helps identify the version. State the number of pieces of furniture, previous repairs, and the issues you experience during use. Take photos calmly and with enough light so that both edges and details can be seen.
Starting price and agreement before work
All prices are indicative starting prices per piece of furniture, including VAT. Material consumption, quality, and the actual condition of the furniture can change the final amount. Work is only initiated once materials, scope, and price have been agreed upon in a specific quote. The timing for drop-off and completion is clarified in the same process.
Collection and delivery are agreed separately. See also prices for furniture service, or send images and describe your job.
