PP120 Bamseskammel: construction and work required

The PP120 Teddy Bear Stool was designed by Hans J. Wegner. The PP120 features an upholstered seat on a visible wooden frame and legs with distinctive joints. The stool is originally associated with the Teddy Bear Chair.

The existing filling and upholstery construction are examined before deciding what can be retained beneath the new cover.

Choose a service for PP120 Bamseskammel

You can select Reupholstery of cushion and Restoration of wooden frame as a starting point in the price selector. The quote concerns your own furniture. If several jobs are needed, they are described together in the quote; selections in the price selector are not automatically added together.

The starting price includes a new cover for the selected upholstered part in the chosen material category. It requires a usable underlying structure. New foam, replacement of other filling or webbing, or extensive rebuilding of the upholstery are priced after inspection. These jobs must not be confused with simply changing the cover.

Materials and the appearance you want to preserve

You can choose furniture fabric, leather, or aniline leather as a starting point for the quote. The specific quality, color, and finish are agreed upon based on usage and preferences. A patterned textile may require more material than a solid-colored one, and the leather's natural variations must be taken into account during cutting. If multiple pieces of furniture are to have the same upholstery, they are assessed as a single project.

The wooden frame can be assessed for restoration at the same time as the seat or cushions. Specify if you wish to preserve the current tone and visible signs of wear. The shown price for the wooden frame is an independent starting point; major damage or replacement of parts requires a specific quote.

Show the seat's top, underside and joints at the legs. Specify whether the upholstery should match a Bamsestol or another armchair.
