Camping trailer cushions must fit a fixed layout and often change function during the day. A good seating group can become an uneven sleeping surface if the parts do not fit together in the other arrangement.
For caravan cushions you should therefore show both seating and sleeping arrangements from the outset.
Draw both arrangements
Number all cushions and indicate where each part lies during the day and at night. Mark which edges must meet. This makes it easier to discover if an angled back cushion is to be incorporated into a flat sleeping surface.
Take photos while the parts are in place. A loose pile of cushions does not tell how they work together in the vehicle.
Describe the current problem
Is the seat too low at the table? Do the back cushions slide? Is there a hard edge in the middle of the sleeping surface? Write down the problem at the relevant number on the drawing.
Avoid copying the old measurements automatically if it is the fit that does not work. Measure also the actual space without cushions. Use the measuring guide to keep the information clear.
Select support for both functions
Tell how often the cushions are used for lying down, and which function is most important. A specific foam type is not in itself a promise of good sleep or a solution to physical ailments.

Check access to storage
The cushions must not make daily access to lids and cupboards unnecessarily cumbersome. Show hinges and the parts that are lifted. Agree on fixing and zipper placement, so the cushions can be moved as the interior requires.
State clearly if you only want to change the cover. Changing both shape and filling is a different scope of work and must be described accordingly.
Plan your breaks between the trips
Explain how the vehicle is stored, and whether there are known humidity conditions. The materials of the cushions and the routine for drying must match this. The storage guide provides a practical sequence before longer breaks.
If the manufacturer has specific requirements for materials in the interior, please include them. The final order should be based on a confirmed specification for each part, not just the caravan's model name.
