Møller armchair 62: construction and work required
Møller armchair 62 was designed by Niels Otto Møller. Møller model 62 features an open back with horizontal wooden slats, gently curved armrests, and slender legs. The seat is available in paper cord or as an upholstered version.
Woven seating is adapted to the armchair's seat frame and its attachment points. An existing upholstered version can be reupholstered instead; the choice must correspond to the chair's current construction.

You can select New paper-cord weaving and Restoration of wooden frame and Reupholstering of existing cushioned seat as a starting point in the price selector. The quote concerns your own furniture. If several jobs are needed, they are described together in the quote; selections in the price selector are not automatically added together.
The starting price applies to a complete replacement of the weaving on the described part with the selected material. Repair of wood, loose joints, or damaged fastening points is not automatically included. These must be clarified first so that the load-bearing structure is suitable for the new weaving.
Materials and the appearance you want to preserve
Paper cord is chosen in natural or black and is woven according to the existing structure of the seat frame. If the seat is already upholstered, fabric, leather, or aniline leather can be chosen for the new cover. Converting between the two seat types is a separate task. New padding and wood restoration are clarified after inspection.
The wooden frame can be assessed for restoration at the same time as the seat or cushions. Specify if you wish to preserve the current tone and visible signs of wear. The shown price for the wooden frame is an independent starting point; major damage or replacement of parts requires a specific quote.
Photos for assessing Møller armchair 62
Show the whole chair, the seat from above and below, the joints of the armrests and model marking. Specify whether the seat is woven or upholstered.
A photo of the markings or model number helps identify the version. State the number of pieces of furniture, previous repairs, and the issues you experience during use. Take photos calmly and with enough light so that both edges and details can be seen.
Starting price and agreement before work
All prices are indicative starting prices per piece of furniture, including VAT. Material consumption, quality, and the actual condition of the furniture can change the final amount. Work is only initiated once materials, scope, and price have been agreed upon in a specific quote. The timing for drop-off and completion is clarified in the same process.
Collection and delivery are agreed separately. See also prices for furniture service, or send images and describe your job.
